1 : exercices
Dans votre kit, vous trouverez une page d’exercice. Je vous conseille de commencer par vous exercer sur cette page pour avoir le meilleur rendu possible sur votre projet final. Tous les points sont montrés et expliqués dans la vidéo qui accompagne ce projet
In this kit, you’ll find a template to learn and exercice all stitches you’ll need to make your project. I recommend to start with this template before embroidering the picture. All stitches are explain and shown in the tutorial video coming with this kit.
2 : step by step
La broderie sur papier n’est pas très difficile, en tout cas pas différente de la broderie sur tissu. Il suffit simplement de suivre les étapes :
- percez tous les trous nécessaires à la réalisation de chaque point, depuis le devant de l’image pas depuis le dos
- dédoublez vos fils de broderie (un fil est composé de 6 brins, sur papier, il vaut mieux les utiliser 3 par 3)
- faites un noeud à l’extrémité du fil (facultatif)
- brodez couleur par couleur
- admirez votre oeuvre !
Embroidering on paper is pretty similar to embroidering on fabric, at least it’s not more complicated. Just follow these steps :
- make all holes you’ll need to make all your stitches
- split your embroidery floss in two (an embroidery floss is made of 6 threads for this kind of projects on paper, it’s preferable to use them 3 by 3)
- make a knot at the end of the longest tail (optional)
- make your stitches color by color
- admire your master piece!
