M\u00eame si <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Martin Weill<\/span> n&rsquo;arr\u00eate pas de dire que c&rsquo;est une ville o\u00f9 on s&rsquo;ennuie, c&rsquo;est loin d&rsquo;\u00eatre vrai. Quand on fait beaucoup de choses de ses dix doigts comme moi et qu&rsquo;on a un b\u00e9b\u00e9, je peux vous dire qu&rsquo;on manque de temps pour s&rsquo;ennuyer ! C&rsquo;est vrai que <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">WDC<\/span> est une ville-mus\u00e9e, parfaite pour les touristes, de laquelle on pourrait penser qu&rsquo;elle manque de vie. Et bien c&rsquo;est compl\u00e8tement faux. Je suis une adepte des jardins couverts et autres serres, mais celui-l\u00e0 je le trouve vraiment sp\u00e9cial. Ce n&rsquo;est certainement ni le plus grand, ni le plus impressionnant, ni le plus luxuriant, mais c&rsquo;est vraiment un endroit o\u00f9 je me sens bien. J&rsquo;y emm\u00e8ne tous ceux qui viennent nous rendre visite ! Et comme beaucoup d&rsquo;autres \u00e0 <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Washington<\/span>, cette visite est gratuite, ce qui ne g\u00e2che rien !<\/p>\n<p>Pas de photo du Botanic Garden, elles ne rendent pas vraiment compte de la magie du lieu, je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re vous laisser le d\u00e9couvrir vous m\u00eame !<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #b3cfe2;\">Librairy of congress<\/span><\/h4>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2720\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2720\" style=\"width: 3024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/thecomptoir.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_3808.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2720\" src=\"http:\/\/thecomptoir.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_3808.jpg\" alt=\"Library of Congress\" width=\"3024\" height=\"3024\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2720\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Library of Congress<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>101 Independence Ave SE, Washington, DC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>L&rsquo;autre lieu incontournable o\u00f9 je traine tous ceux qui traversent l&rsquo;<span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Atlantique<\/span>, c&rsquo;est la biblioth\u00e8que du <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Congr\u00e8s<\/span>. Sa localisation est royale puisqu&rsquo;elle se trouve \u00e0 l&rsquo;extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 est du <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Mall<\/span>, dont je vous ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 parl\u00e9. Elle est situ\u00e9e en face du <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Capitol<\/span>e, un autre b\u00e2timent embl\u00e9matique et assez incroyable, non loin du Jardin botanique.<\/p>\n<p>Ce n&rsquo;est pas un lieu o\u00f9 il y a forc\u00e9ment beaucoup de choses \u00e0 voir, mais l&rsquo;architecture int\u00e9rieure est assez atypique et dans une ville\u00a0o\u00f9 les colonnades r\u00e8gnent en ma\u00eetre, ce lieu sort vraiment de l&rsquo;ordinaire. Les mosa\u00efques et les ornements sont \u00e0 couper le souffle. Il y a tellement de choses \u00e0 dire sur <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Georgetown<\/span> qu&rsquo;il faudrait que je fasse un article exclusivement l\u00e0 dessus !<\/p>\n<p>Si vous voulez voir un quartier avec de jolies maisons, de grands parcs, des petites boutiques, des anciennes usines retap\u00e9es tout \u00e7a au bord du <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Potomac<\/span>, c&rsquo;est \u00e0 <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Georgetown<\/span> qu&rsquo;il faut vous rendre.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #b3cfe2;\">Jefferson Memorial &amp; Tidal Basin<\/span><\/h4>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2721\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2721\" style=\"width: 3024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/thecomptoir.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_3672.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2721\" src=\"http:\/\/thecomptoir.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_3672.jpg\" alt=\"Jefferson Memorial\" width=\"3024\" height=\"3024\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2721\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jefferson Memorial<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>701 E Basin Dr SW, Washington, DC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De tous les m\u00e9moriaux de <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Washington<\/span>, mon pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 c&rsquo;est vraiment celui de Jefferson. Il n&rsquo;a pas grand-chose \u00e0 voir avec l&rsquo;esprit qui plane sur le <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Mall<\/span>. J&rsquo;aime m&rsquo;y promener en fin de journ\u00e9e, au coucher du soleil c&rsquo;est juste parfait. Le <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Jefferson Memorial<\/span> se trouve \u00e0 deux pas, vers le sud, du <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Mall<\/span> et il est gentiment pos\u00e9 au bord du <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Tidal Basin<\/span>. Au printemps, lors du <a href=\"http:\/\/thecomptoir.com\/fr\/echappatoire\/cherry-blossom-season-1096\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">festival des cerisiers en fleurs<\/a>, c&rsquo;est vraiment l&rsquo;endroit o\u00f9 il faut aller. D&rsquo;un c\u00f4t\u00e9, il y a le<a href=\"http:\/\/thecomptoir.com\/fr\/memoire\/irving-penn-beyond-beauty-967\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Smithsonian American Art Museum<\/span><\/a> et de l&rsquo;autre, the <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">National Portraits Gallery<\/span>. Ces deux mus\u00e9es en un sont \u00e0 voir, il y a souvent de tr\u00e8s bonnes expositions temporaires et des expositions permanentes plus ou moins de qualit\u00e9. Mais ce que j&rsquo;aime particuli\u00e8rement dans ce b\u00e2timent g\u00e9ant, c&rsquo;est la verri\u00e8re centrale. La cour int\u00e9rieure est un endroit un peu hors du temps et de l&rsquo;agitation de la ville. Pour se d\u00e9tendre apr\u00e8s une longue marche dans <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Washington<\/span>, il n&rsquo;y a pas de meilleur endroit pour souffler un peu.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #b3cfe2;\">Et plus si affinit\u00e9s&#8230;<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Il y a bien d&rsquo;autres lieux qui m\u00e9ritent toute notre attention \u00e0 <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Washington<\/span>. Il y a tellement de mus\u00e9es et de parcs que je ne saurais pas vraiment par o\u00f9 commencer. J&rsquo;y reviendrai donc ult\u00e9rieurement !<\/p>\n<p>Si vous pr\u00e9voyez un voyage dans la capitale f\u00e9d\u00e9rale am\u00e9ricaine, je vous conseillerai d&rsquo;y rester entre 3 et 8 jours, suivant ce que vous avez envie d&rsquo;y faire. En 3 jours, vous verrez l&rsquo;essentiel, le <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">Washington<\/span> touristique, beau, mais un peu \u00e9loign\u00e9 de l&rsquo;esprit de la ville. En 8 jours, vous aurez le temps de voir le c\u00f4t\u00e9 touristique, l&rsquo;ambiance r\u00e9elle de la ville et tous les coins \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir autour du <span style=\"color: #8ab7ba;\">District of Columbia<\/span>.
